One of my final projects while training at RADA was to design a moving light performance of about 3-4 minutes in length to a piece of music of my choice, to be operated live in front of an audience. Although preparation was allowed, the brief dictated that I could not pre-programme the entire show, and that it had to be entirely live operated by me in the space.

The project was designed, in many ways, to place us outside of our usual ‘theatrical comfort zones’ and present us with new live technology and control systems that we had not had much experience working with previously.
